In nearly every category section on the website there is now far more choice regarding the quantities of livefood available, for example large locusts now available in 75’s 150’s, 200’s , crickets available in bulk up to 2000 quantity, plus many more variations of quantity available on most products.

Micro/Hatchling brown crickets now added to the site. These offer great value at £2.30 for a count of approx 350-400 per tub!

Some new items of interest have been added, water gel crystal’s from just £1.35 for 10g, an ideal way to provide water for your livefood without them drowning! Great to help with providing humidity to enable livefood to shed their exoskeleton with ease.

Roach food now available at highly competitive prices. Roach food, a well balanced blend of food items that provide essential proteins, vitamins and minerals to ensure your roaches remain healthy and well nourished and grow at their optimal rate.

Ventilated cricket tubs and waxworm pots now available at very competitive prices.

Postage costs are kept to the minimum; quite often the postage to send orders costs me more than what is paid by the customer. It may appear to be a better deal to offer free postage but as seen on other sites this leads to an increase in cost on each and every item purchased, in turn this extra cost on the product works out quite expensive if purchasing multiple items. My policy is to show the price you pay for each item and have just one clear postage charge based on the value of your order. This way I can ensure my prices are very competitive.

Recycling: at Ricks Livefoods recycled materials are purchased and used wherever possible, our packaging egg cartons are made from recycled material as are the shipping boxes used to send your livefood out in. The livefood breeding and housing containers in the Livefood Rooms all use the recyclable egg cartons for the insects to live on. Not only are recycled materials purchased for use as above, but all the recyclable waste is taken to the local recycling centre.
